One of HemlockFest’s primary purposes is to raise public awareness on environmental issues, such as saving the Eastern Hemlock. Experts from many areas bring exhibits to HemlockFest to share cutting-edge knowledge on a range of environmental topics. Exhibitors include subject matter experts on biological control of the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, the breeding program for the American chestnut restoration, beekeeping, water quality, and other areas.
