New Venue for 2022!

We are pleased to announce the 2022 Hemlockfest will be held at a new venue:

Cherokee Farms in LaFayette, Georgia.

A new chapter in the history of Hemlockfest is about to begin. We are thrilled to partner with Cherokee Farms and are pleased to be able to offer RV and car camping areas going forward.

Cherokee Farms is a gorgeous 245-acre property in northwest Georgia with a rustic, mountainous, spiritual vibe. You can feel it as soon as you arrive on the property.

This amazing piece of land contains 200+ acres of grassy fields combined with wooded areas, both great for camping. The lay of the land is easy to navigate with plenty of parking space, lots of room for car camping, diverse areas for primitive camping, and a huge area for RVs and pull-behinds!

Why a New Venue?

Starbridge in Murrayville was an excellent host to Hemlockfest from 2006 through our last in-person event in 2019. They are, unfortunately, no longer hosting public events. It was a good run and we had a great time there. We wish everyone at Starbridge all the best going forward!

Why So Far From Dahlonega?

Our goal in prospecting new venues was to find a place with all of the amenities our attendees are accustomed to, but with a lot more room to breathe. Cherokee Farms fits the bill perfectly.

Cherokee Farms hosts a wide range of events throughout the year (both public and private) and are set up to comfortably accommodate an event of our size. In addition to the basics, Cherokee Farms offers separate heated men’s and women’s showers, walking/hiking and bike trails, and a natural spring-fed pond.

Cherokee Farms is easily reachable from north and middle Georgia, as well as middle Tennessee and north Alabama. For those of you flying in, it is less than 30 miles from the Chattanooga airport.
