Your corporate or personal sponsorship lets our community know you care about the health of the world we live in, makes a statement about your social responsibility, and helps save the Hemlock trees of southern Appalachia.
Monetary donations and festival proceeds are used to provide ongoing support for the efforts of all three labs in Georgia that raise predatory beetles to combat the Hemlock Woolly Adelgid on public lands. We also use funds to raise awareness about the challenges facing our hemlock forests, promote action, and facilitate other environmental projects that benefit north Georgia, Lumpkin County, its residents, and visitors. In addition, we assist private land owners and public agencies in managing the health of their Hemlock trees.

Silent Auction
Contributions don’t always have to be in the form of money. If you’d like to donate a silent auction item or service, please email us at lumpkincoalitioninfo@gmail.com.
Examples of great goodies for the silent auction range from dinners at wonderful restaurants, weekend getaways, and the royal treatment at day-spas to one-of-a-kind artwork, hand-made quilts, and unique gifts. Festival-goers can see or read about the items all during the event and record their bids. The winner of each item is announced at the end of the festival (but need not be present to win).
Materials Donations Needed
Materials donations are also a big help in keeping our overhead low. Here are some of the things we typically need:
- Golf carts
- Firewood (seasoned hardwood, no green stuff)
- Fatwood and fire lighters (no liquid fire starter)
- Portable kerosene or propane heaters and extra fuel
- Plywood, lumber, and other building materials
- Heavy-duty outdoor extension cords
- Arts and crafts materials for Kids’ Nature Village
- Seasonal items like pumpkins, bundles of corn stalks, potted mums, etc. to decorate the stage area
- Lamps, sturdy coffee tables, and end tables for the band tent

Seed Level: $100 – $250
Seed-level sponsors will be listed on the Sponsors page of our website and festival program, receive social media mentions, and receive a tax deduction along with our deepest thanks.
Sprout Level: $500
Sprout-level sponsors will be listed on the Sponsors page of our website and festival program, receive social media mentions, will be included on a banner in a distinguishing font according to level, and will include a one-color logo. The banner will be exhibited prominently at the festival.
Trunk Level: $750
Trunk-level sponsors will be listed on the Sponsors page of our website and festival program, receive social media mentions, will be included on a banner in a distinguishing font according to level, and will include a one-color logo. The banner will be exhibited at the festival.
Heartwood Level: $1,000
Heartwood-level sponsors will be listed on the Sponsors page of our website and festival program, receive social media mentions, will be included on a banner in a distinguishing font according to level, and will include a one-color logo. The banner will be exhibited at the festival.
Hemlock Level: $2,500
Hemlock-level sponsors will be listed on the Sponsors page of our website and festival program, receive social media mentions, get one half of a page in the HemlockFest program, and a prominent place on the banner for name and logo (one color but different color from the other sponsors for stand-out purposes).
Canopy Level: $5,000
Canopy-level sponsors will be listed on the Sponsors page of our website and festival program, receive social media mentions, get one full page in the HemlockFest program, and a prominent place on the banner for name and logo (one color but different color from the other sponsors for stand-out purposes).
Forest Level: $10,000
Forest-level sponsors will be listed on the Sponsors page of our website and festival program, receive social media mentions, get one full page in the HemlockFest program, and will be listed on a separate banner from the other sponsors. The banner will include name and logo in original full color. Web address can be included if desired.
